Anderson, SC| NewLife Fellowship of Anderson has donated numerous boxes of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) to the relief efforts assisting Hurrican Torn Western North Carolina. NewLife Fellowship of Anderson posted on their Facebook page asking for donations to help keep the Meals coming. Their statement below.
With all the heartbreaking news that continues to come out of the Western North Carolina area we are all compelled to help any way that we possibly can. One of the great needs is for non-perishable food. NewLife Fellowship has been given access to an emergency supply of MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat). These MRE’s are a great source of nutrition and require no preparation.
The cost of 1 case of MRE’s is $139 and each case contains 12 meals. Each meal is fully cooked so they can be eaten right out of the pouch.
The MRE’s are being delivered from Anderson by private helicopter to remote areas of Western North Carolina that are not accessible by road.
