Anderson County, SC | Around 5:50 pm Wednesday evening, 3&20 Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, Anderson County EMS Paramedics, and Anderson County Coroner’s Office responded to Hamlin Road after two bodies were found. One body was found outside and one inside. Roughly twenty-five dogs were in the house, preventing investigators from going inside. Anderson County Sheriff’s Animal Control took custody of the animals. Multiple detectives and the crime scene unit were seen on the scene. This house has been at the center of numerous investigations.
Back in early 2017, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Anderson County Coroner’s Office investigated a shooting that took place at this address.
In March 2015, Debra Lynne Sheridan of the same address was charged with close to one hundred charges ranging from Possession of less than one gram of meth. or cocaine base, 1st offense to Ill-treatment of animals.
The Anderson County Coroner’s Office released a statement:
The Anderson County Fire Department , Medshore Ambulance Service, Anderson County
EMS, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Coroner responded to a residence
on Hamlin Road around 5:55 pm this evening regarding the discovery of two individuals
deceased.
The victim’s have been identified as a 49-year-old white male and a 59-year-old white female.
The white male was found outside the residence and the female was located inside. The
names of the decedents are being withheld due to the cause of death.
The victim’s died as a result of Polydrug Toxicity and the manner of death has been ruled
accidental. The deaths appear to be related to illicit drug use and therefore the names will not
be released. The Office of the Coroner does not any suspect foul play in the deaths of the two
individuals and there appears to be no danger to the general public.
