Anderson, SC| Early Monday morning, Anderson Police Department and Medshore Ambulance Service responded to West Franklin Street for two children who had been shot. We received early information that this was a one and a fourteen-year-old who had been shot. The scene was littered with bullet casings. On January 20th, 2025, shortly before 7 am, officers responded to 803 W Franklin Street in reference to a drive-by shooting inside the dwelling. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that there were two juveniles inside the residence who appeared to have non-life-threatening gunshot injuries. Both juveniles were transported to the hospital via EMS as officers processed the scene, collecting evidence and information. An investigation into this incident is currently ongoing, with a possible suspect having been identified.
