Williamston, SC| On Saturday night, a multifamily was displaced after their house caught fire. Williamston, West Pelzer, and Cheddar Fire Departments responded with Medshore Ambulance Service and Anderson County EMS Paramedics to Williams Street Extension for a structure fire. It took firefighters approximately an hour to bring the fire under control. Firefighters were about to save multiple family dogs that were in the residence. Details are limited at this time as to what caused the fire. Williamston Police Department and Williamston Fire Department personnel are investigating the cause of the fire.
