Honea Path| Honea Path Police Department arrested a Honea Path Fire Department Volunteer Fireman. Honea Path Fire Department responded to 14 South Anderson Street, Honea Path, Saturday night for a vehicle fire. It was reported that this was the vehicle belonging to suspect Logan Driver. The Honea Path Fire Department, in conjunction with The Honea Path Police Department, were able to solve and arrest Driver within twenty-four hours. This is not Driver’s first run-in with law enforcement. Logan Driver was charged with arson 2nd degree in June of 2022 after multiple houses were burned in Pelzer, SC. The charges were later dropped. Driver was charged by the Honea Path Police Department with one count of arson 3rd degree, one count of filing a false police report of a misdemeanor violation for falsely reporting someone threw a brick through his window when, in fact, he did it himself, and two counts of filing a false police report of a felony violation for falsely reporting that someone broke into his house and also setting his truck on fire. Logan Driver confessed to all the alleged crimes. Logan Driver was taken to the Anderson County Detention Center and is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
