Anderson, SC| Anderson City Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, and Anderson City Police Department responded to the 1600 Block of E Calhoun Street for a structure fire.
Does anyone know more about this. We could see the flames from my daughter’s house. The medics took a stretcher down to the building but didn’t come back, so we’re assuming it was just in case.
That’s what we thought. We couldn’t get close enough to see what it was, but since it says “structure” we thought maybe a garage. We could see embers over the trees and heard popping noises. Hope no one was hurt. Guess I need to drive by since it’s near my neighborhood.

EMS always brings their gear in case someone gets hurt or needs something. It seemed like a back building was on fire. It looks like a total loss.
