Homeland Park, SC| At 9:08 p.m., Homeland Park Fire Department and Medshore Ambulance Service responded to South Main Street and Video Warehouse Way for a pedestrian vs. car. Per the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the vehicle hit the person, stopped briefly, and took off. The vehicle that hit the person was possibly a Silver Ford Fusion. The vehicle and suspect have not been located as of this article. The patient did receive life-threatening injuries. The patient was taken to an area hospital for emergency care, and at approximately 11:00 p.m., the patient was airlifted from Anmed to a trauma center. As of Friday morning, the Anderson County Coroner’s Office is not investigating this accident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and MAIT Team are investigating this hit-and-run accident.
