Easley, SC| Three and Twenty and Piercetown Fire Departments, Medshore Ambulance Service, and Anderson County EMS Paramedics responded to Hendricks and Three and Twenty Road for a two-car Motor Vehicle Accident. Multiple patients were entrapped in this MVA. One person was killed as a result of this MVA. Numerous other patients were taken to a local trauma center for further treatment.
South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway said a 2007 Lincoln Sedan was on Hendricks Road trying to turn left. The driver of the Lincoln pulled out in front of a 2024 Kia SUV, causing the collision. The Kia SUV hit the driver and passenger doors of the Lincoln Sedan. The back left passenger of the Lincoln Sedan was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver and passenger were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
The driver and two juvenile patients from the Kia SUV were taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital for their injuries.
Anderson County 911 received a call at around 11:45am on Thursday for a motor vehicle collision on Three and Twenty Road at Hendricks Road in Easley. Anderson County EMS, Medshore EMS, Piercetown Fire Department, Three and Twenty Fire Department, Wren Fire Department, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and Anderson County Office of the Coroner responded to the scene. Responders arrived to find multiple people injured and one patient deceased on scene. The victim has been identified as:

87-year-old male from Easley, SC
Preliminary investigation shows that the victim was a driver’s side rear passenger in a Lincoln Town Car that pulled out from Hendricks Road onto Three and Twenty Road and was hit by a Kia Telluride traveling South. The cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries, and the manner of death has been ruled accidental.
The investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
