Anderson, SC| Anderson City Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, and Anderson City Police Department responded to East Market Street and South Jefferson Avenue for a 19-year-old who had been shot. Medshore Ambulance Service took the patient by ambulance to the Heli-Pad at Anmed. LifeFlight flew the patient to a local trauma center for further treatment. No word if a suspect has been identified. We have reached out to the City Public Information Officer but have not heard back from them. We will update this article once the Anderson City Police Department reaches back out to us.
