Anderson, SC| Late Tuesday night, Centerville Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, Anderson County EMS Paramedics, Anderson County Coroner’s Office, and South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to New Prospect Church Road and Singleton Road for a one-car rollover accident. Around 11:45 pm, a South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper called 911 and reported this accident. The Anderson County Coroner’s Office said that a Toyota Highlander was traveling and went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and flipped the vehicle in the field. The Coroner’s Office said that preliminary reports suggest that alcohol and speed were a factor in this accident. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and killed.
The Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 29-year-old Jeremiah Dustin Jefferson of Anderson.
