Update| Anthony Jenkins, is now facing 17 Counts of Possession of a Destructive Device and 1 Count of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.

Anthony Kyle Jenkins is charged with Possession of A Destructive Device after a search
warrant uncovered homemade explosive devices along Highway 29.
The Bomb Squad found Jenkins using everyday household items and mixing them
together to create small explosions. When deputies approached the suspect in the
woods where he lives, Jenkins instead took off on foot, prompting a large search.
Jenkins was taken into custody with the assistance from our Uniform Patrol, Special
Investigations Division, Drone and K9 Units, Emergency Management SLED, the ATF, and
FBI and other local agencies.
More charges are possible following the investigation.
