Anderson, SC| Centerville Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, and Anderson County EMS Paramedics responded to Sunny Lane off of Lakewood Lane for a male patient in his 50s who was cutting trees when the Boom Lift he was in tipped over. The identity of the man has not been released as of this posting. This investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office. The incident occurred around 1:50 pm this afternoon in the Centerville community on Sunny Lane in Anderson, SC. Anderson County EMS, Medshore Ambulance Service, Anderson County Fire Department (Centerville Station), Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Coroner responded to a 911 report of a man that had fallen into a creek, from a Cherry Picker and was in cardiac arrest. EMS personnel attempted resuscitative efforts. The victim was non-responsive to treatment and subsequently was pronounced deceased on scene.The victim has been identified as:DANIEL CHRISTOPHER BROWN, SR 51-year-old-male from Anderson, SC The investigation indicates the victim was self-employed trimming trees for an individual homeowner in a local neighborhood and while using a cherry picker to trim some limbs, the cherry picker overturned causing the victim to fall approximately 40-50 feet to the ground. The victim sustained multiple traumatic injuries secondary to the fall and the incident has been ruled accidental. The investigation is on-going by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. More details will be released when available.
