Anderson, SC| Anderson City Fire Department responded to Shirlane Dr at the railroad crossing for a train fire. At the time of this posting it is unclear what caused the fire. Upstatenewstoday.com reached out to Pickens Railway Company located in Anderson. Pickens Railway’s General Manager, Daniel Garrett stated there were two personal on the train at the time of the fire. Mr. Garrett also stated that the fire is under investigation. The train was not transporting any chemicals and there is no threat to the community. At 4:46 p.m. fire personal started to clear the scene.
