Pendleton, SC| State Law Enforcement Division and Pendleton Police Department were on the scene along Laurel Drive in Pendleton. It is reported that 20-year-old Jessica Barnes lived with a roommate in the pool house on the property. Police report that Barnes was last seen between August 1-3, 2024. Barnes was reported missing by her mother on September 10, 2024, Police said. Several questions surround why it took so long for someone to report Barnes missing. On Thursday, September 19, 2024, Police searched a property along Twin Lakes Rd, Pendleton. Police said they are looking into every tip and following every lead. Police have been looking at every place Barnes was known to hang out at. It was known for Barnes to be at Twin Lakes Rd, close to the lake. Police Chief Robert Crosby said Jessica Barnes is still missing. Chief Crosby said that Jessica Barnes’s husband, Brandon Barnes, has been in contact with police. The Pendleton Police Department put out a missing person flyer and asked if anyone knows anything to please contact the police department.
