Piedmont, SC| Wren Fire Department and Medshore Ambulance Service responded to Exit 35 North Bound Interstate 85 for a two-car motor vehicle accident. A person on the scene stated that the car was in the far left lane, drifted over, and collided with an 18-wheeler. The person on the scene stated that the car hit the truck’s back tires, bounced off, and hit the wall. The car caught fire but was quickly extinguished. Three patients were taken to an area trauma center for further treatment.
